More info

The Roero Arneis “Val dei Preti” of Matteo Correggia winery is a very particular white wine that is produced in a historical vineyard of Roero, called “Val dei Preti” that is characterized by a sandy soil. It has a nice bright straw yellow color and in mouth it is persistent and refreshing. The nose develops hints of fruit and flowers, more evident if the wine is drunk young. This Arneis is characterized by a revolutionary cork, the screw cap, with which each bottle is perfect and without alterations due to external factors. It is a white wine to drink as an aperitif and in combination with seafood risotto or with pasta with vegetables.

Manufacturer

Matteo Correggia

The cave of Matteo Correggia produces a huge choice of wines with its grapes that derive from 20 hectares of vineyards. The wines are sons of soils, where the vineyards have their roots: sandy soils, poor of clay and of silt, but rich in mineral sails and so appropriate for the production of elegant wines and also rich and refined bouquets. Matteo Correggia inherited the cave of his family in 1985 and he decided to carry on an ambitious project: that is make and produce wines of quality in an underrated territory. Today the cave is managed by Ornella Costa, wife of Matteo, who is dead very soon.
