It is an excellent white wine produced with the Viognier’s grapes, while the colour of it is a straw yellow one with many green nuances. The rich smell includes a floral and soft bouquet of white flowers, jasmine, honeysuckle, in addition to apricot’ and spices’ s hints. This wine accompanies perfectly shellfish, lobster, fish dinners, white meats and goat’s cheeses.
In 1849 Yalumba was established in the famous Barossa Valley in the Southern Australia, by the Englishman Samuel Smith, who moved away to Australia, because he wanted to change life. Yalumba is the eldest Australian cave, which embodies all the success of the Australian wine’ history. The name of the cave, Yalumba, was adopted by Samuel Smith, and in Aborigine language it means ‘all the surrounding land’. In the last years the request of Yalumba wines is grown in an enormous way to exceed the productive capacity of this winery.
