More info

This refined Barbaresco wine is produced with Nebbiolo grapes deriving from vineyards situated in Barbaresco, a district near Alba. To our sight this Barbaresco wine presents a ruby red colour, with some garnet-colored nuances, while its bouquet is various and fruited with smells of red fruit’s jam, violet, spices and vanilla. The taste is a rich and charming one and these characteristics give to this wine nobility and great structure. Eventually the wine is perfect in combination with platters based on meat, as roasts and braised beef, game or platters based on the famous Alba truffle and seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

Pio Cesare

Since 1881 the Pio Cesare’s cave represents the excellent tradition of Piedmont. It is the story of a family that safeguards the style of a Barolo, today very famous in the world, and also exported in more than 40 countries, with the same label that Pio Cesare wanted. Even now we follow the classical interpretation of the Barolo, that is engage our existence in creating wines that are able to exalt the territory.
