More info

This Barbaresco wine is endowed with great balance and harmony, and it is produced with selected Nebbiolo grapes deriving from different vineyards situated near the district of Neive. The colour of this wine is an intense ruby red one, with some orange nuances; the elegant and refined bouquet reveals some scents of plum, mature cherry, rose, spices, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Eventually, the taste of it is intense and charming, endowed with a great structure and persistence, in fact it accompanies perfectly roasted red meat, game and seasoned cheeses.

La Spinetta

The history of Rivetti’s family starter in 1890, when Giovanni Rivetti left for Argentina, by abandoning his family in Italy. His son Giuseppe began to lay the foundations for the building of a cave: so he started the wines’ production and the Rivetti family settled in La Spinetta, in Castagnole Lanze in 1977, where it was produced the first red wine, Barbera Cà di Pian. Recently the Rivetti’s have purchased some vineyards in Grinzane Cavour, where an art cave has been founded, and it is called Barolo Campè. Nowadays Rivetti’vineyards extend in Toscana, too, by occupying about 65 hectares of the territory.
