The Langhe Nebbiolo of La Spinetta winery shows an intense ruby red color. Red wine very pleasant, it presents elegant, floral and fruited aromas, with notes of strawberry and cherry, violet and spices on final. The taste is fresh, harmonic, round and rich. With a light acidity and a great persistence, it is a wine for all meals and it is perfect if drunk with soup, first courses with meat sauces and roasted meats.
The history of Rivetti’s family starter in 1890, when Giovanni Rivetti left for Argentina, by abandoning his family in Italy. His son Giuseppe began to lay the foundations for the building of a cave: so he started the wines’ production and the Rivetti family settled in La Spinetta, in Castagnole Lanze in 1977, where it was produced the first red wine, Barbera Cà di Pian. Recently the Rivetti’s have purchased some vineyards in Grinzane Cavour, where an art cave has been founded, and it is called Barolo Campè. Nowadays Rivetti’vineyards extend in Toscana, too, by occupying about 65 hectares of the territory.
