More info

Elegant passito wine produced with Muscat grapes; it shows a wonderful and brilliant gold-yellow colour. The smell is strong and aromatic, with hints of dried fig, apricot, honey and jam, vanilla and lime flowers. Rich and sweet, this passito wine is characterized by good acidity and softness. The perfect combination is with cheese with bluish-green veins or seasoned (served with honey and jam), patisserie and chocolate dessert. This wine is excellent for the ageing.

La Spinetta

The history of Rivetti’s family starter in 1890, when Giovanni Rivetti left for Argentina, by abandoning his family in Italy. His son Giuseppe began to lay the foundations for the building of a cave: so he started the wines’ production and the Rivetti family settled in La Spinetta, in Castagnole Lanze in 1977, where it was produced the first red wine, Barbera Cà di Pian. Recently the Rivetti’s have purchased some vineyards in Grinzane Cavour, where an art cave has been founded, and it is called Barolo Campè. Nowadays Rivetti’vineyards extend in Toscana, too, by occupying about 65 hectares of the territory.
