The Roero Monfriggio by Chiesa Carlo is made with selected Nebbiolo grapes cultivated on the Santo Stefano Roero hills. Core wine of the winery, it is characterized by a deep ruby red color. At nose, it develops intense and fruited scents, with hints of rose and raspberry. The taste is delicate, with fine tannins and it has a persistent final with notes of berry, cherry and liquorice. The Roero Monfriggio by Chiesa Carlo can accompany roasted meat and aged cheeses.

Manufacturer

The Chiesa Winery was born on the Roero Hills in 1700 and the management has arrived by now at the fifth generation. Nowadays, the three brothers Carlo, Renato and Giuseppe with passion and dedication follow all the phases of the production, from the grape harvest to the commercialization. Nine hectares cultivated with native vine variety for a production of 400 hl of wine, following traditional and eco-friendly methods.
