This is an excellent Dolcetto wine, produced; it presents an intense ruby red colour with yellow-crowned nuances. When you taste it, you can perceive cherry’ and blackberry’s smells, to follow coffee and leather ones. The taste is soft and fragrant with a good complexity and with characteristics that approach it to important red wines of aging. So this wine has excellent qualities and it combines perfectly with a rich cuisine, first courses, roasts, boiled meats and fried fish.
The cave arises in 1986 in La Morra and at that time it included only 2 hectares of vineyards. In the course of the time the producer of this winery have managed to purchase new vineyards, as those appropriated to Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbera’s production. The wine making follows traditional procedures, by allowing the vineyards to express their essence, that derives from the wine. Voerzio's cave manages to produce from 40000 to 60000 bottles every year, thanks to the surface of 20 hectares.
