Villero Barolo docg Brovia 2018

Barolo Villero by Brovia is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapdes coming from Villero vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of Barolo wine production. In the glass it is light ruby red with garnet shades. The nose is wide and elegant, with hints of cassis, raspberry, red berries, besides intense notes of sweet spices and tobacco. The sip is soft, round and full-bodied, with a persistent and long aftertaste. Barolo Villero by Brovia is recommended with game, braised or roasted red meat, matured cheese. It's a great meditation wine and offers an excellent ageing potential. 

The Brovia winery was founded in Castiglione Falletto in 1863 and it’s one of the oldest reality of the Langhe hills. All the grapes come from their own vineyards, located in different hills of Barolo and cultivated following biological methods. All phases of viticulture are followed scrupulously; after ageing in the cellar, the wine is bottled without filters in order to keep better its characteristics connected to the "terroir". Expanding the winery, entering new markets and ... "Always improving!": these are the purposes that have Elena and Cristina Brovia, who are leading the company today.
