More info

The “Prapò” of Germano Ettore is a Barolo wine with a classical style, produced with traditional methods. The color is ruby red with light oranges reflexes; the aroma has a fruity and intense bouquet with ripen red fruits, dry fruit and black currant notes, with a spiced background on light vanilla notes. The taste is dry, intense and pleasant, with austere and well-structured tannins; it is perfect if drunk with roasted or stuffed red meats, game and aging cheeses.

Manufacturer

The winery Ettore Germano has very deep roots, as when the great grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto, began to produce small quantities of wine and to sell the grapes, which was the predominant activity in Serralunga at the time. The Alberto's son, Hector, so continued the work of his father and grandfather, becoming a skilled grafter and buying some neighboring plots with their property. The turning for the winery was given by the son of Hector, Sergio which began working with his family buying other small plots of land and making the first Chardonnay plant.
