More info

The Barolo “Riserva Lazzarito” of Germano Ettore is produced with Nebbiolo grapes that come from the famous “Lazzarito” cru in Serralunga d’Alba district.

This wine has a good ruby red color and an ample and composite bouquet, with fruity scents of jam, small red fruits, pepper, licorice and violet. The taste is fine and elegant, pleasantly and persistent, with important tannins; it is perfect if drunk with red meats, game and aging cheeses. The Barolo “Riserva Lazzarito” is a perfect wine for the meditation.

Manufacturer

The winery Ettore Germano has very deep roots, as when the great grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto, began to produce small quantities of wine and to sell the grapes, which was the predominant activity in Serralunga at the time. The Alberto's son, Hector, so continued the work of his father and grandfather, becoming a skilled grafter and buying some neighboring plots with their property. The turning for the winery was given by the son of Hector, Sergio which began working with his family buying other small plots of land and making the first Chardonnay plant.
