The Chardonnay “Antica” of Napa Valley is an excellent white wine cultivated in the vineyards located on the Californian hills.
On view, it shows an intense straw yellow color, while at nose it gets off fruity smells of peach and white pear in addition to vanilla notes on the final.
In mouth, it is wide and soft with fruity aromas and a good sapidity.
It is perfect in drunk with first courses made with fish or vegetables, poultry, crustaceans and mollusk.

The Antica winery, that hold a fantasy name which derives from the union of Antinori and California words, has become a milestone for high quality wines production in California in a short time. The idea of Marchesi di Antinori is bringing their history and tradition towards a new border, the american one. The winery is located on the Vaca Mountains upland, in the oriental side of the Napa Valley. The landscape is rich of hills and it’s a territory very suitable for viticulture that remebers the landscapes of Tuscany. The first wine of this winery was made in 2001 and it’s a Cabernet Sauvignon. The Antica winery is the realization of a dream and in the same time it’s a point of reference for high quality wines production in California.
