More info

This is a Barbera d’Alba endowed with an own character and it presents an intense ruby red colour with some yellow-crowned reflexes and various perfumes of dog rose, cherry, blueberry, coffee, tobacco and menthol. This is a wine of good structure and softness, with an intense and persistent taste: in fact this wine is perfect in combination with flavorful first courses, typical second courses based on meat and seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

Matteo Correggia

The cave of Matteo Correggia produces a huge choice of wines with its grapes that derive from 20 hectares of vineyards. The wines are sons of soils, where the vineyards have their roots: sandy soils, poor of clay and of silt, but rich in mineral sails and so appropriate for the production of elegant wines and also rich and refined bouquets. Matteo Correggia inherited the cave of his family in 1985 and he decided to carry on an ambitious project: that is make and produce wines of quality in an underrated territory. Today the cave is managed by Ornella Costa, wife of Matteo, who is dead very soon.
