Langhe doc Nebbiolo Ettore Germano 2019

The Langhe  Nebbiolo of Ettore Germano winery is an excellent red wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown on the hills around Serralunga d'Alba. Afetr a short period of aging in steel, the wine shows a nice ruby red color and an intense and composite bouquet, floral with hints of fresh fruit, cherry and violet. The taste is well structured and persistent, fresh and with a tannic ending. The Nebbiolo of Ettore Germano goes very well with hot appetizers, cold cuts, with the classic veal with tuna sauce or meat stews.

The winery Ettore Germano has very deep roots, as when the great grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto, began to produce small quantities of wine and to sell the grapes, which was the predominant activity in Serralunga at the time. The Alberto's son, Hector, so continued the work of his father and grandfather, becoming a skilled grafter and buying some neighboring plots with their property. The turning for the winery was given by the son of Hector, Sergio which began working with his family buying other small plots of land and making the first Chardonnay plant.
