This is a Chardonnay with a great personality and produced with grapes deriving from vineyards situated in the district of Treiso, with a Southern and Western exposition, and an altitude of 300m s.l.m. The wine presents a straw yellow colour and it is possible to identify the presence of apple, pineapple and citrus fruits. It is harmonic and persistent, due to the area of the Langa. This kind of Favorita must be served fresh, to 9/10° and it is a good appetizer, an ideal partner of fresh salads and fish starters.
The estate Martinenga became property of the nobles Marchesi di Gresy in 1797: Alberto di Gresy spent his childhood in this building, by learning to appreciate that soil and its products. Alberto began the wines’ production of Tenuta Cisa Asinari of Gresy in 1973, starting from the lines, that at the beginning were used by other people, up to a real wines’ production.
Today the cave produces excellent wines that are exported in all the world.
