Pigato doc Marenè Vio Giobatta 2023

The Pigato Marenè of Bio Giobatta winery, also called Biovio, is a white wine made with grapes farmed in Albenga, (in the Ligurian West,) where the Pigato grapes express the best. It has a beautiful straw yellow color with greenish nuances, it release at nose wide scents of grapefruit, tangerine, moss and almond and aromatic herbs on the final. In the mouth it is dry and tasty, intense and pleasantly cool. For these characteristics , the Pigato Marené by Vio Giobatta is the ideal wine to drink with first courses made with italian pesto sauce, baked fish, crustaceans and seafood.

In the last few years, the winery Biovio, managed by Mr. Giobatta Vio,has made its way into the Italian wine panorama, thanks to its organic and traditional methods of cultivation.

The demaine was founded in the 1980 in the heart of Liguriahinterland.

Its philosophy is to preserve the artisanal methods of making wines and to concentrate its production on Vermentino and Pigato, that are the traditional wines of the Liguria region.
