More info

The Roero is one of the most important wines produced by the Winery Alberto Oggero. Obtained by Nebbiolo grapes cultivated on the Bricco le Coste in Santo Stefano Roero district, the Roero of Oggero is a red wine with an intense and persistent taste, with a full body and an important structure.
With an intense ruby red colour, at nose it develops intense and fruited scents with hints of cherry, plum, blueberries and violet.
Warm and provided with pleasant softness, it is perfect if drunk in combination to game and braised and roasted meats. It is excellent with seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

The Oggero winery was founded thanks to the initiative of the young Alberto who in 2009 decided to put into practice the passion and dedication for the wine given to him by the family, restoring the family winery. The Roero Arneis 2010 and Roero 2011 become the first wines with the Alberto Oggero brand. Alberto currently owns 3 hectares of vineyards and produces about 9,000 bottles a year.
