Montespinato Roero docg Cascina Chicco 2019

Il Roero of Cascina Chicco is a a wine with great balance and pleasantness, produced with Nebbiolo grapes deriving from the “Montespinato” vineyard, collocated in Castagnito, in the heart of the Roero. This Roero wine presents an intense ruby red colour, while the smell is a fragrant and fruited one, besides hints of cherry, blueberries, violet, rose and vanilla. The taste of this wine is the mirror of its softness and balance: it is an intense and persistent one, endowed with a full body and important structure: in fact it is perfect in combination with important platters, as roasted and braised beef, game and medium seasoned cheeses.

The estate of Cascina Chicco has deep roots in the heart of the Roero and it explains the old rural culture and the passion for vineyards and wine of this territory. His consolidated tradition of wine makers has increased both by oenological modern competences, and by the other vineyards’ acquisitions in the most famous regions of the Roero. Today Cascina Chicco cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards all in hill, and the estate gains, with a great satisfaction, a huge production of Arneis, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Roero, Barbera d’Alba, Favorita and Brachetto.
