I Lioni Nebbiolo d'Alba doc Deltetto 2021

The Nebbiolo d'Alba of Deltetto winery is an elegant wine, with great structure, produced by selecting the best Nebbiolo grapes from the owned vineyards. The wine owns a characteristic intense ruby red colour, while the smell is fruited and fragrant with hints of blackberries, blueberries, under wood and violet. This Nebbiolo wine is really warm, dry and soft: for these qualities, it is perfect in combination with first and second platters based on fish, medium seasoned cheeses.

Since 1953 the Deltetto cave produces high quality wines of Langa and Roero. It is settled in Canale and established by Carlo Deltetto: the philosophy of the cave has as purpose the respect of nature and of the great Piedmont’s tradition of wine. Now the winery is managed by the son of Carlo, Antonio, together with his wife Graziella and their sons Carlo, Cristina and Claudia. There is a various and complete production, which includes red wines of the tradition as Roero Braja, Barolo Sistaglia, Barbera Rocca delle Marasche, and Barbera Bramè, but also white wines typical of Roero as Arneis San Michele, Arneis Daivei and Favorita Servaj.
