Picol Sauvignon doc Lis Neris 2019

The Sauvignon Blanc "Picol" is part of the selection of the Lis Neris winery: these are wines produced with grapes coming from historic vineyards, grown without the use of chemical weed killers and vinified separately according to their origin. The Sauvignon Blanc "Picol" spends more than a year and a half between big barrel, steel tank and bottle before being marketed. At sight, it has a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, while in the nose it develops a broad and composite bouquet, with hints of peach, lime, passion fruit and balsamic notes on the background. In the mouth, it is fresh and balanced, sapid and well structured. The intense flavour of exotic fruit is followed soon by aftertaste of aromatic herbs and a balanced final. To try absolutely with dishes based on raw fish, asparagus and fresh cheeses.

The Lis Neris winery is one of the most interesting realities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which has continued its success for four generations. The owner, Alvaro Pecorari, has continued his paternal tradition by keep producing exceptional white wines, trying to exalt the characteristics of the different vines and the territory at their best. The perfect conditions of the land, favored by the proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the winds of Bora, have allowed him to produce exceptional, harmonious and balanced wines avoiding any form of weeding and placing Lis Neris as the authentic excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
