Alladium Caludo docg Passito Cieck 2016

The Passito Alladium by Cieck winery is a wine of ancient origins, made with selected grapes of Erbaluce di Caluso. It is obtained thanks to a long process that starts with the selection of the best bunches, which will be placed in appropriate locations and left to dry naturally. After three years of aging in oak barrels, it shows at sight a beautiful golden yellow color, while in the nose it develops fragrances of honey and lemon in a spicy background. On the palate, it comes fresh and balanced, well-structured with a delicate final. Undisputed champion as a meditation wine, the Passito Alladium by Cieck is perfect to drink with dry pastries, dried fruit or with paté and blue cheeses.

The Cieck Winery, founded in 1985 and managed by Domenico Caretto and Lia Falconieri, offers the best wines of the Canavese area, that is the northern portion of the Turin province. The pay great attention to the respect of the environment: the fight against parasites in the vineyard is strictly dealt with natural methods, also by consulting the Faculty of Agriculture of Turin. In the cellar, tradition is combined with technological innovation to transmit the peculiarities and characteristics of the territory to the wine as much as possible.
