More info

This wine can be defined as elegant, complex and classic; it is produced starting from the Nebbiolo grapes coming from the most famous area of Monforte d’Alba, the so-called “Mondoca”. This Barolo wine shows a ruby red colour, while its smell reveals an elegant bouquet with fruited scents of black currant, apricot, spices, mint and licorice. With great balance, rich body and aristocratic, it gives excellent results if combined with red meats, game and seasoned cheeses. Moreover, it can go beyond the 20 years of aging.

Manufacturer

All along Oddero family is owner of vineyards, so it is very difficult to establish a precise beginning of the wine making process. Lorenzo and Luigi started to produce wine at the end of 800, starting from their vineyards of La Morra. Giacomo Oddero, grandfather of the present manager of this cave, took part of the International Exposition of Torino in 1991, where he proposed his Barolo wine. Presently the winery is carried on by Mariacristina and Mariavittoria, who have inherited by their father the cult of wine and its origins.
