More info

The Barbaresco Riserva Rongalio is a elegant wine, produced in the best years starting from a selection of grapes, deriving from the “Rocche Meruzzano” vineyard, known for its aspects that permit the Nebbiolo grapes’ cultivation. This wine presents the typical ruby red colour, with some dark red reflexes, while the bouquet is rich, complex and elegant, in addition to hints of plum, mature cherry, jam, spices, cinnamon and tobacco. The taste is instead dry and balanced, at the same time warm, soft, harmonic and endowed with a great structure. This Barbaresco wine accompanies perfectly important platters based on red meat, seasoned cheeses and game. Moreover, it has a good capacity of aging.

Manufacturer

From generation to generation the Abrigo family devotes himself to vineyards’ plantation: in fact Giovanni Abrigo, Orlando’s son, began to work with his father in the familiar vineyards in 1988. Presently the Abrigo’s cave, situated in Treiso, works on a surface of 20 hectares of vineyards: a part of them are destined to traditional wines’ production, as Barbaresco and Barbera, even if the other part of vineyards is destined to new vineyards.
