Alta Langa docg Nature Marcalberto 2019

The Alta Langa Nature by Marcalberto winery is a classic method sparkling wine made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes without the addition of sulphites. After a long period of refinement on its own yeasts in the bottle, it expresses a beautiful intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. On the nose it emanes intense and intriguing fragrances, with notes of dry pastries, mint and citrus fruits. On the palate it is fresh, with a balanced and long-lasting finish. A wine with a complex taste, the Alta Langa Nature by Marcalberto is perfect to drink throughout the meal or paired with snails and truffle-based dishes.

The Marcalberto winery is a small family-run business set in Santo Stefano Belbo; it was founded by the oenologist Piero Cane and it produces exclusively “Spumanti Metodo Classico”. From 1996 the management passed to the brothers Marco and Alberto who followed with passion each step of wine-making, taking at best advantage of the six hectares of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay that give life to some of the best sparkling wines in the area.The winery, created in a historic house of the 19^th century built with stone and tuff, produces over 30,000 bottles a year of “Spumanti Metodo Classico”.
