Barbera d'Alba doc Germano Ettore 2019

The Barbera d'Alba of Ettore Germano winery shows a beautiful intense ruby ​​red color with violet reflexes. At nose it develops wide and composite aromas, a fruity and spicy bouquet, with notes of red fruit, dog rose, cherry and raspberry. Provided with a good acidity and freshness, with velvety tannins and a persistent final, it is a perfect wine to drink in combination with tasty first courses, traditional Piedmontese cured meats and aged cheeses.

The cave is situated in Canale, exactly in the so-called locality ‘Case Sparse’, and the Responsible of it is Angelo Ferrio. The prestige of this wine maker is to agree the different tastes of the critic, that is a difficult task. Ahead of Ferrio’s Roero wines people are surprised, maybe because his Nebbiolo’s vineyards are situated in a good position, maybe because Angelo Ferrio is a friendly producer: moreover, he is able to create wines that reveal determination and naturalness, but at the same time they reflect the character of Roero’s territory.
