Barbera d’Alba Nicolon by Negro Angelo e Figli has an intense ruby red colour with purple nuances. In the nose it reveals an intense abd fruity bouquet, with scents of plum’s jam’, cherry ripe blackberry and spices. The taste is persistent and dry, with some vanilla hints. Barbera d'Alba Nicolon i a wine perfect to drink with typical Piedmont starters, stuffed pasta, salami, tagliatelle and medium aged cheese.

The cave is settled on the Roero’s hills, in Monteu Roero, and it is collocated in a favourable position for the vineyards’ plantation. The winery was established by Giovanni Domenico Negro in the far 1670: at the time Giovanni had a big country house in the locality of Sant’Anna. In the course of the time the cave has developed and it has begun to increase: in fact today the wine makers work on a surface of 45 hectares of vineyards. Nowadays the cave is able to combine tradition and modernity, by earning excellent results.
