More info

The Barolo Conca by Renato Ratti winery is an excellent red wine made with Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the historic vineyard of Rocche dell'Annunziata in La Morra, with a potential aging of more than 25 years. Beautiful red coloured with garnet reflections, in the nose it develops complex hints of mint and sage, roses and licorice. On the palate it comes pleasantly tannic with a round taste for a persistent final. The Barolo Conca by Renato Ratti is great in combination with game dishes and aged cheeses.

Renato Ratti

Renato Ratti’s caves are founded in 1965, when Renato decided to transfer the wine’s production, already begun in Alba, to La Morra in a building called the Annunziata. Since 1970 Renato Ratti became a datum point for the Langhe’s wine, and then he wrote lots of books about the composition and the history of his vineyards. After the death of Renato in 1998, the cave passed to his son Pietro, who amplifies his territories and modernize the winery. The building of the New Annunziata began in 2002, and even now it safeguards the wines’ production, always by respecting the tradition.
