The Gewürztraminer Lafóa of Colterenzio is an elegant and fine white wine with a high aging potential. With an intense straw yellow color, at nose it develops complex and rich aromas, with notes of citrus, nutmeg, cannellella in addition to a fresh and floral background. Soft and well balanced in the mouth, with a good acidity and freshness, it is perfect to drink chilled as an aperitif or in combination with fish or crustaceans courses.

Manufacturer

The Colterenzio winery was established in 1960 by 28 wine makers, and in the course of the time more and more producers have added to them until the 300 of today: they work in a surface of 300 hectares. The quality of soils, as well as the wine of this locality was recognized around 15 before Christ., when Cornelius lodged there by laying the foundations for the Colterenzio vineyards. The cornerstones of the winery’s philosophy are naturalness, respect for traditions and use of modern technologies, in fact the three kind of wines that the cave produces, follow these ideas: there are classic wine, that people can drink everyday, Praedium wines, that are produced by Oltradige vineyards, and the great Cornell wines which have an enormous international value.
