Etna Bianco Passobianco doc Passopisciaro 2019

Sublime white wine, made with Chardonnay grapes, at eyes it presents an intense straw yellow color, with golden reflexes. At nose it develops an intense and fruity bouquet, with hints of exotic fruit, honey and orange zest. In the mouth it is dry and sapid, well balanced, with a long and persistent final, slightly mineral. It is an excellent white wine to drink in combination with blue fish fries, shellfish and Mediterranean dishes.

The Passopisciaro winery is one of the properties of Andrea Franchetti, made from the renovation of an ancient “baglio” on the slopes of Etna, in the city of Castiglione di Sicilia. Thanks to the sunny climate and the excellent temperature range, excellent wines are produced mainly based on Nerello Mascalese.
