Alta Langa Extra Brut docg Brut Ettore Germano 2019

The Alta Langa Extra Brut of Ettore Germano winery is a sparkling wine produced in the area of Serralunga d'Alba with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The wine shows a beautiful, intense straw-yellow color, with fine and persistent perlage. The nose develops a floral and fruity bouquet, with hints of dried fruit and bread crust. With a great sour note, the taste is fresh and persistent. The Alta Langa of Germano Ettore is perfect if drink chilled as an aperitif or in combination with cold vegetables appetizers or fish dishes.

The winery Ettore Germano has very deep roots, as when the great grandfather Francesco and grandfather Alberto, began to produce small quantities of wine and to sell the grapes, which was the predominant activity in Serralunga at the time. The Alberto's son, Hector, so continued the work of his father and grandfather, becoming a skilled grafter and buying some neighboring plots with their property. The turning for the winery was given by the son of Hector, Sergio which began working with his family buying other small plots of land and making the first Chardonnay plant.
