Barbaresco docg Il Bricco Pio Cesare 2015

This is a refined Barbaresco wine produced with the Nebbiolo grapes coming from different territories of the “Cascina il Bricco” situated in Treiso and owned by Pio family. The colour of this wine is a dark red one with some orange nuances, while it includes perfumes of mature red fruit, jam, floral scents, violet, spices, vanilla, tobacco and nutmeg. All along it owns a great structure and persistence, and for these reasons it accompanies perfectly platters based on red meat, as roasts and braised beef, game, or platters based on the famous Alba truffle.

Since 1881 the Pio Cesare’s cave represents the excellent tradition of Piedmont. It is the story of a family that safeguards the style of a Barolo, today very famous in the world, and also exported in more than 40 countries, with the same label that Pio Cesare wanted. Even now we follow the classical interpretation of the Barolo, that is engage our existence in creating wines that are able to exalt the territory.
