Roero docg Cornarea 2019

The Roero by Cornarea is obtained through a precise selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes. It owns a ruby red colour that blends to garnet-colored. This wine contains an intense and complex bouquet, in addition to some smells of plums, raspberries, blackberries and eucalyptus. Moreover, its taste is a warm one, endowed with an elegant structure and softness. It is a persistent one, and for this reason the Roero by Cornarea accompanies perfectly roasted and braised beef, boiled meat typical of Piedmont, game and eventually seasoned cheeses.

The cave is collocated at the door of Canale, a district in the area of the Roero, on the slopes of the historical and old hill of Cornarea, called in this manner since the year 1000. In the half 70s years, Piero Bovone and Francesca Rapetti decided to plaint again an old and almost dead white vineyard: the Arneis, that was recovered by the living lines in the Nebbiolo’s vineyards. Gian Nicola Bovone and the lawyer Pierfranco Bovone entered this cave and now they wanted to maintain the tradition and the quality of the Cornarea in the production of wines as Roero Arneis, Roero docg and Nebbiolo d’Alba.
