More info

This is an elegant Roero wine produced with the Nebbiolo grapes deriving from different vineyards collocated in the district of Canale, in the heart of Roero. This wine owns an intense ruby red colour, while the smell of it reveals floral and fruited perfumes, besides violet’ and mature fruit’s scents. It can be classified as a warm one, endowed with pleasant softness and good structure: thanks to its characteristics it is perfect if drunk in combination with important platters based on meat, as roasts and game, besides seasoned cheeses

Manufacturer

Matteo Correggia

The cave of Matteo Correggia produces a huge choice of wines with its grapes that derive from 20 hectares of vineyards. The wines are sons of soils, where the vineyards have their roots: sandy soils, poor of clay and of silt, but rich in mineral sails and so appropriate for the production of elegant wines and also rich and refined bouquets. Matteo Correggia inherited the cave of his family in 1985 and he decided to carry on an ambitious project: that is make and produce wines of quality in an underrated territory. Today the cave is managed by Ornella Costa, wife of Matteo, who is dead very soon.
