This wine includes a great balance and pleasantness and it takes the name from the dialectal term of Piedmont “Sudisfà” that means satisfied. The wine owns a characteristic intense ruby red colour, while the perfumes are intense and fruited, with scents of violet, mature fruit, vanilla and green pepper. The taste is a warm one, at the same time endowed with a good structure: for its persistence it is perfect if drunk in combination with grilled red meat, risotto, boiled meat typical of Piedmont and seasoned cheeses.
The cave is settled on the Roero’s hills, in Monteu Roero, and it is collocated in a favourable position for the vineyards’ plantation. The winery was established by Giovanni Domenico Negro in the far 1670: at the time Giovanni had a big country house in the locality of Sant’Anna. In the course of the time the cave has developed and it has begun to increase: in fact today the wine makers work on a surface of 45 hectares of vineyards. Nowadays the cave is able to combine tradition and modernity, by earning excellent results.
