More info

Elegant Barolo wine that takes its name from the homonymous vineyard in the area of La Morra. This wine shows a brilliant ruby red colour, a little bit transparent with orange reflexes. The perfume of this wine is intense and full, with a fruited and floral bouquet and scents of mature red fruit, violet, tobacco and dry flowers. It has great structure, too, in balance with freshness and endowed with an excellent persistence: for these reasons, it is perfect if drunk together with stuffed pasta, second courses based on red meats and seasoned cheeses.

The history of Andrea Oberto’s cave is very particular, but very interesting. Andrea Oberto was both a driver and a farmer: after many hours of work as driver, he managed to find his energy in order to cultivate the 3 hectares of vineyards, that he had inherited from his father. A part of grapes was sold to the social cave, and the other part was sold to private customers. Today the winery is bigger, because the hectares of vineyards are 16 and the wine is exported all over the world. Nowadays the cave is managed by Fabio, Andrea’s son, who engages looks for imitate his father, by carrying on the work of a special person.
