This wine presents an intense and brilliant dark red colour, aloing with a fresh and fruity bouquet with hints of cherry, red currants, blackberry and blueberry, white pepper and licorice. Soft and well-balanced, but also persistent, this wine is perfect paired with white meat and medium seasoned cheese

The first wine’s production of this cave goes back up the year 1300 in the Estate of Castiglioni in Pesa Valley, in Firenze. From the beginning, the Marchesi de Frescobaldi are famous for the quality and the typicalness of their wines, in fact some artists as Donatello were attracted by these wine makers. Today the wine makers of this cave believe in the respect of the territory, by investing in the competence of human resources.
