Barolo docg Essenze Vite Colte 2011

The “Essenze” Barolo wine is produced by using an assembly technique that includes selected Nebbiolo grapes deriving from different territories of Barolo. Thanks to this practice the wine that derives is balanced and owns a great structure: moreover, it contains all the qualities of the different territories and climates. Its colour is an intense ruby red one, while the smell reveals a various and complex perfume with floral and fruited scents of violet, and vanilla. The taste is dry and warm, at the same time persistent: so, this Barolo wine is excellent if accompanied with braised meats, game, seasoned cheeses and obviously with platters based on the famous Alba White Truffle.

The winery Vite Colte, called Terre da Vino since 2016, is a cooperative winery that was born in the town of Barolo in the 80s, including about 300 hectares of vineyards in the Langhe and Monferrato. It produces exclusively Piedmontese wines such as Barbera d'Asti, Moscato d'Asti, Barolo and Barbaresco  which are aged at controlled humidity and then bottled in an innovative production plant, where works of art of tourist interest are exhibited. Quality is the goal of the winegrowers and growers who, thanks to their knowledge of the area, are able to make the Piedmontese wine culture stand out all over the world.
