More info

This is an elegant Barbaresco wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes deriving from the “Asili” territory, in the district of Barbaresco: this place is favourable for the Barbaresco’s production thanks to its position and climate. This wine shows a dark red colour, with brilliant ruby red nuances, while the bouquet is rich and aristocratic, but at the same time it is possible to identify perfumes of currants, blackberries, jam, spices and licorice. Moreover, this wine is perfect in combination with roasts and seasoned cheeses, above all thanks to its good capacity of aging.

Manufacturer

Michele Chiarlo

The cave was founded by Michele Chiarlo in 1956: staring from the beginning he has started to purchase ample territories in the province of Asti, in order to produce Barbera and Moscato wines. Today Michele Chiarlo is supported by his sons Alberto and Stefano, and together they produce high quality wines, thanks to the modernity of the cave’s techniques. The production of Michele Chiarlo is very huge and it goes from the Barbera d’Asti wine, which has a fresh and balanced taste, to the Barolo wine, that has a more complex taste.
