More info

The Barolo Cannubi of Paolo Scavino is a balanced and harmonic red wine, produced with grapes deriving from the prestigious “Cannubi” vineyard, in the district of Barolo. Thanks to a special combination of natural factors and a careful work in the vineyard, Paolo Scavino creates an elegant and complex wine, which presents an intense ruby red colour with orange nuances. Moreover, the bouquet is intense and complex with fruited ands floral perfumes of violet, wild rose, oriental spices, tobacco and licorice. Its harmonic structure, its classical style, together with its elegance and softness and its long persistence make it perfect if drunk in combination with platters based on red meats, foie gras, game and seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

This cave was founded by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto. The winery counts about 23 hectares of vineyards, that allow the cave to sell 120000 bottles every year. Nowadays the wines’ production is managed by Enrico Scavino, together with his two daughters. The Scavino’s winery is known for its care and attention and for the belief that the viticulture is more important than the oenology. The wines distinguish themselves for the purity, the elegance and the twine of traditions and territories.
