Dolcetto d’Alba Dei Grassi doc Elio Grasso 2020

The Dolcetto d’Alba Dei Grassi of Elio Grasso is produced with grapes that come from wine yards situated in Monforte d’Alba. It has an intense ruby red color with violet reflexes and a fresh and fruity bouquet with small berry fruits and cherry scents. The taste is dry and with a great body, with soft and persistent tannins. It is perfect if drunk with fish courses and white meats.

The Elio Grasso winery was founded in Monforte d'Alba, in a region with a strong oenological vocation, in the heart of the production area of the king of wines: the Barolo. First of all, Elio and his family love to define themselves as "peasants", to reaffirm the importance of the "earth" as an absolute value. Starting from 1978, thanks to the diversification of production between Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto and Chardonnay, the winery produces 90000 bottles every year.
