Langhe Nebbiolo doc Paolo Scavino 2018

The Langhe Nebbiolo of Paolo Scavino is an armonic and elegant wine, with a ruby red colour of medium intensity. This Nebbiolo is really fresh and ready to drink due to the brief permanence in oak barrels and the aging in steel.The aroma has a fruity and floreal bouquet with raspberry, bluebetty, dog rose scents.
The taste is dry, hot and quite soft, with  light tannic notes and  harmonic acidity. It is ideal if drunk with second meat courses, medium aging cheese and home made stuffed dough.

This cave was founded by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto. The winery counts about 23 hectares of vineyards, that allow the cave to sell 120000 bottles every year. Nowadays the wines’ production is managed by Enrico Scavino, together with his two daughters. The Scavino’s winery is known for its care and attention and for the belief that the viticulture is more important than the oenology. The wines distinguish themselves for the purity, the elegance and the twine of traditions and territories.
