The Pomino Pinot Noir of Marchesi de frescobaldi is an elegant and refined wine endowed with great purity, it shows a wonderful, brilliant ruby red colour. Its bouquet is intense and elegant, in addition to some aroma of mixed berries, licorice, mint and anise. The taste of this wine is dry, soft and warm, at the same time fresh and well structured. Thanks to these features, it is perfect in combination with agnolotti, first courses based on tomatoes, white and red roasted meats.

Manufacturer

The first wine’s production of this cave goes back up the year 1300 in the Estate of Castiglioni in Pesa Valley, in Firenze. From the beginning, the Marchesi de Frescobaldi are famous for the quality and the typicalness of their wines, in fact some artists as Donatello were attracted by these wine makers. Today the wine makers of this cave believe in the respect of the territory, by investing in the competence of human resources.
