Tenuta La Scolca is managed by Chiara Soldati, the Giorgio Soldati's daughter. The history of the La Scolca Estate dates back to 1919 when Giorgio's great-grandfather decided to buy it though woods half covered it and half was used to cultivate wheat. He had the intuition to plant Cortese vineyards. With a vineyard area of around 50 hectares, today La Scolca represents one of the oldest and most renowned estates in the Gavi area. The main objective of the Soldati family is to maintain the fame and quality that distinguishes them. Work in the vineyard is extremely meticulous and with low environmental impact, while in the cellar all the best techniques are used to enhance and preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes coming from different vineyards. La Scolca wines are distinguished by their elegance and freshness, their aromas and their great personality.
