What is a cookie?
Cookie is a little text-file memorized by the computer when a user visits a web site. The text memorizes information that the site is able to read when it is consulted in a second time. Some of these cookies are essential for the correct operation of the site; others are useful for the visitor because they are able to memorize in a safe way, for instance, the user name or language settings. The advantage of having cookies installed in your own pc is that you don’t need to fill in all the information he would fill in every time he wants to access a previously visited site.
