The name Schiava indicates a vine cultivated mainly in Trentino Alto Adige, but also in Lombardia and Veneto.
Its grapes produce fine wines such as Santa Maddalena or Caldaro (also called Kalterersee). More generally, the wine obtained is red coloured between ruby and garnet, with hints of rose and small red fruits in the nose. In the mouth it is balanced with the right acidity that favors a long and nutty final.
