Bellavista Winery was founded in 1977 by Vittorio Moretti on a small family-owned plot of land, named after the very hill on which the estate stands. The evocative name reflects the extraordinary surrounding landscape: a natural terrace offering breathtaking views of Lake Iseo, the Po Valley, and the Alps. Over the years, Moretti expanded his holdings, and today the estate encompasses 180 hectares of vineyards, divided into 107 crus across 10 different municipalities—some of the most renowned in Franciacorta production. From these prized areas come the acclaimed sparkling wines such as Alma and Satèn, along with elegant expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. Bellavista’s winemaking style is defined by deep respect for the land and the natural rhythms of the vine. A meticulous attention to detail throughout the vinification and aging processes results in wines of remarkable quality and finesse. The winery produces around one million bottles annually, the majority being various sparkling cuvées. These are followed by still white and red wines, as well as a remarkable limited-edition brandy. Bellavista Franciacorta is one of the most well-known and highly regarded Italian sparkling wines worldwide, with the Alma Cuvée standing as its proud flagship.
