FRATELLI ALESSANDRIA
Fratelli Alessandria is a family-run winery deeply rooted in the history of Barolo and the artisanal traditions of the Langhe. Originally established as Fratelli Dabbene, the estate was founded at the end of the 18th century in a grand historic house on the edge of Verduno’s old town, in the heart of the Langhe. The winery’s heritage is represented by its 15 hectares of vineyards, located in some of the most prestigious areas for red wines around Verduno. Fratelli Alessandria has long been tied to the very origins of Barolo. The crus Monvigliero, San Lorenzo, and Gramolere are vinified individually, while the blend of various vineyards gives life to the Barolo del Comune di Verduno. Harvesting is carried out by hand, following the traditional rhythms of the season in late October, and cellar practices remain deeply rooted in time-honored winemaking methods.
