Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy is a historic winery in Lower Piedmont, always managed as a strictly family-run business. Since the late 18th century, the Marchesi di Grésy have been dedicated to viticulture in Martinenga, in the municipality of Barbaresco, which has been owned by the family since 1797. It was within the walls of this estate that Alberto di Grésy spent his childhood, learning to appreciate the land and its products. In 1973, Alberto began wine production at Tenute Cisa Asinari di Grésy, starting from vines initially used by others, eventually developing a full-scale wine production. The Marchesi di Grésy manage 45 hectares of vineyards spread across four distinct estates between the Langhe and Monferrato regions. The goal of Tenute Cisa Asinari di Grésy is to produce wines of the highest quality, not focused on power, but endowed with extreme elegance and a strong connection to the territory. The winery’s main focus is Barbaresco, represented by the three prestigious crus: ‘Martinenga’, ‘Gaiun Martinenga’, and ‘Camp Gros Martinenga’ Riserva.
