Marotti Campi is a winery located in the Marche region, specifically in Morro d'Alba, with origins dating back to the mid-1800s. In 1991, Giovanni Marotti Campi initiated a project to modernize the vineyards, streamlining production and focusing it on the two most representative and typical grape varieties of the area, Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. Since 1999, Lorenzo Marotti Campi has also been involved in the family business, helping to establish it as a benchmark for the Lacrima di Morro DOC designation. The estate covers about 120 hectares, 52 of which are dedicated to viticulture. The surrounding hills and the unique microclimate of the area create ideal conditions for grape cultivation. The company focuses on enhancing native grape varieties, using modern winemaking techniques to bring out the intrinsic characteristics of the grapes. In the vineyard, sustainable and low-impact cultivation methods are employed, limiting treatments to the strict minimum and choosing low-dosage products. Harvesting is done manually, ensuring a careful selection of the best clusters. The winery produces a variety of wines, but its flagship products are Lacrima di Morro d'Alba and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Lacrima di Morro d'Alba is an aromatic red wine, known for its intense floral and fruity aromas, while Verdicchio is a white wine appreciated for its freshness and balanced acidity. Thanks to the quality of its wines, Marotti Campi has received numerous accolades both nationally and internationally. Its labels are often positively reviewed by critics and specialized wine magazines.
