Domenico Clerico is one of the most prestigious wine producers in the Langhe region of Piedmont, renowned for its iconic Barolo wines. Founded in the 1980s by Domenico Clerico, the winery stems from the family’s long-standing experience in viticulture and the founder’s passion for great Piedmontese wines. Today, the estate is continuously managed by the family, preserving the original philosophy: producing wines that fully express the terroir with elegance and complexity. The winery owns vineyards on selected crus of the Langhe, such as the famous Monprivato, as well as other plots in Bricco Pernice, Arione, and Ciabot Mentin. Winemaking follows meticulous attention to detail: grapes are hand-harvested, fermentation occurs with selected yeasts, and the wine is aged in oak barrels of different sizes.
